Frances Elvaneel Dendy, age 79 of Arab died Sunday – February 14, 2016 at Shepherd’s Cove, Hospice of Marshall County in Albertville Al.
Mrs. Dendy was born on November 28, 1936 in Marshall County the daughter of Exer Lurleen Edmonson. Mrs. Dendy was a homemaker and had lived in Arab since 1958.
She was a member of Mt. Hermon Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years: James W. Dendy; son: Phillip J. Dendy; daughter: Cathy Brooks (Tim); grandchildren: Angela Brooks, Aaron Dendy (Erin), Corey Dendy; great grandchildren: Landen P. Brooks and Noah P. Brooks. She was preceded in death by a grandson Brandon P. Brooks and a great grandson Gavin P. Brooks.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday – February 17, 2016 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Brother Don Ware and Brother Tim Brooks officiating. Burial in Arab Memorial Cemetery. Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Visitation will be 12:00-1:00 p.m. Wednesday – February 17, 2016 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
