Frances Elois Richardson, 84, of Florence, passed away May 16, 2014 at ECM Hospital after an extended illness. She was a member of Florence Boulevard Church of Christ.
Visitation will be Sunday, May 18, 2014 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Monday, May 19, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Old Macedonia Church of Christ with Dale Boren officiating. The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Old Macedonia Cemetery.
Mrs. Richardson was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus King Johnson and Ida Ann Sutton Johnson; five brothers, and four sisters.
She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Thomas Benton Richardson; son, Thomas Richardson, Jr. (Tammy) of Florence; daughters, Ruth Phillips (Bill) of Killen, Diane Williams (Robert) of Killen, Lynn Gooch (David) of Florence; sisters, Addie Bradford of Scottsboro, Peggy Haley of Huntsville; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
