Mrs. Frances Elizabeth Herston left us on November 26, 2014 to be with the Lord, due to a brief illness. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 28, 2014 at Greenview Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m. Funeral services will be Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 1 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with Brother Webster Wade officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.
Frances is survived by her husband, Roland Herston and children, Debra Rhodes(Billy),J R Myrick, Phillip Hayes(Madonna), Sherry Springer(Michael), Larry Herston, Ricky Herston(Maria), Patricia Bailey, and two loving sisters, Lorene Sharp and Betty Nix; eight grandchildren, Ray Blackstock, Stephanie O’Kelley, Eric and Charlie Springer, Corey Hayes, Tyler Parrish, Faith Bailey, and Summer Herston, eight great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Frances was an amazing loving mother, sister, aunt, and Ninnie. She will be missed by all. Frances was a life long member of Three Forks Missionary Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday school teacher, choir member and faithful servant of the Lord where needed. Her loving spirit and generosity was known throughout Gresham Hills Community where she was actively involved daily and resided for over fourteen years.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Hospice of the Shoals, Oxford Health Care(Neshia Orr), Jane Moon, Dr. Webb and the sixth floor staff at E.C.M. Hospital.
Pallbearers will be grandsons along with life long special friends
