Frances Charlene Stewart, age 89, of Curry, passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at Walker Baptist Medical Center.
Mrs. Stewart was a Navy wife for 30 years. She retired with “Skip” in Curry, where they lived for 50 years. They were members of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Curry Cemetery. John Gates will officiate.
Mrs. Stewart was preceded in death by her Husband-Homer Minard “Skip” Stewart; Sisters-Erma Lay and Mae Denson; Brothers-“Dick” Wood, Carlton Wood, Franklin Wood and Alton Wood; Mother-Arminda Wood; Father-John Wood.
She is survived by her Daughter-Patricia Adams; Son-Chuck Stewart; Sisters-Lorene Burson and Betty Williams; Grandchildren-Asher Flynn, Ryan Stewart, Kyle Stewart, Kaylee Hudson and John Adams; 9 Great Grandchildren.
