FPD Arrest Suspect On Domestic Violence Charges From November

FLORENCE-The Florence Police Department issued a statement concerning the arrest of a suspect who was wanted on several Domestic Violence charges

“On November 19, 2022, at approximately 6:30 AM, Officers responded to Fountainbleau Apartments, Darby Drive, to a domestic call. Officers made contact with a female who had been punched and choked by her ex-boyfriend. The ex-boyfriend was identified as Freddie Liles, of Florence. He had left the residence prior to officers’ arrival.

A warrant was obtained for Mr. Liles. Mr. Liles was picked up by Fayette Police Department on the 8th of
December. He was transported to Florence and warrants were served the following day.

Freddie Liles was charged with Domestic Violence Strangulation or Suffocation, Domestic Violence Assault 3rd degree, Interference with a Domestic Violence Emergency Call, Unlawful imprisonment 2nd degree, and Domestic Violence Harassment.

Liles is being held on a $45,200 bond at the Lauderdale County Detention Center.
