Four Suspects Arrested On Drug Charges In Limestone County

LIMESTONE COUNTY-On Wednesday, December 18 the Limestone County Sheriff’s Department released a statement concerning the arrest of four people on various drug charges after a call regarding a possible overdose at the residence in question:

“On 12/16/2019, the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office received a call about an unresponsive male at Ephesus Church of Christ on Elkton Rd. The caller stated that the male was unresponsive due to an overdose.

The Narcotics Unit overheard the call being dispatched and responded to the scene along with patrol deputies. While on scene Narcotic Investigators learned that the male had overdosed at a house on Porter Rd. The complainant also told Investigators that they saw drugs in plain view when they were removing the male to take him to get medical care.

The Narcotics Unit followed up on the information that they had obtained and went to the address on Porter Rd. Investigators were able to make contact with the two individuals that lived at the residence and were granted permission to enter the house. Once inside, Investigator J. King observed two males exit from a bedroom. Investigators told the four individuals about the call that the Sheriff’s Office had received, and the homeowner permitted investigators to search the residence.

Investigators located a mixture of crushed Subutex pills and Adderall inside a plastic bag in plain view, along with a loaded syringe. Investigators also found Subutex pills, Xanax and other drug paraphernalia throughout the residence.

Investigators arrested all four individuals in the home. The two individuals that lived at the residence, Chasity Page Maddox and Lincoln Lawrence, were arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. The other two individuals, Jarrod Bowling and James McMillan were arrested for loitering with the intent to obtain or use illicit narcotics.”
