Foster David Jones, of Cordova, passed away at UAB Hospital on March 23, 2025.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde L. and Virginia Jones, and his sister, Margaret Bryan Jones (Charles).
He is survived by his beloved wife, Carolyn Garner Jones; sons, Foster David Jones, Jr. (Lindsey) and Christopher Michael Jones (Jennifer); grandchildren, Mary Garner Jones, Raleigh Isabella Todd, Molly Kate Jones, Amos Bryan McKee Jones, Noah Schwartz, and Stokely Schwartz. He is also survived by his sister, Judith Richardson (Charlie), along with a host of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friend, David “Doc” Wilson.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Collins-Burke Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 26th, with visitation at 1:00 p.m. and a celebration service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hatt Church of Christ Cemetery (9430 Hwy 269, Parrish, AL 35580).
