Fort Payne Man Dies From Injuries After Overturning His Vehicle

 DEKALB COUNTY-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a Single-Vehicle accident in Dekalb County has taken the life of one person:

“A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 15, has claimed the life of a Fort Payne man.

Roger G. Killian, 79, was fatally injured when the 2004 Toyota Tacoma that he was driving left the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned. Killian was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The crash occurred on Interstate 59 near Dekalb County 483, approximately five miles north of Collinsville, in Dekalb County.

Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
