Mrs. Forrestine West, 84, of Scottsboro, passed away on Friday, July 19, 2019 at the Hospice Family Care Center Huntsville Al, surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 22, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Jacobs and Rev. Bryan Hicks officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 21, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home.
Mrs. West is survived by her daughter, Melissa (Jimmie) Cookston of Scottsboro AL; son, Rodney (Barbara) West of Pasadena TX; grandchildren, Eric (Linda) Cookston of Hollywood AL, Dubresse Cookston, Jamie Cookston, Kerry (Josh) McWilliams, Chelsea (Rod) Key, and Cody Cookston all of Scottsboro AL; Brandi West of San Antonio TX, Christina (Roy) Katzenstein of New Braunfels TX; great grandchildren, Matthew (Angel) Cookston of South Pittsburg TN, Chase (Tiffany) Cookston of Chesapeake VA, Erica Cookston of Hollywood AL, Sawyer McWilliams Marcus McWilliams, Cadence Key, Kennedy Key all of Scottsboro AL, Zane West of San Antonio TX, Taylor, Jessica, Raquel Katzenstein of New Braunfels TX; brothers, John Ray Haswell and Miller (Debra) Haswell all of Hollywood AL; Several Nieces and Nephews; and a very special cat Princess.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon West; parents, Rice and Vera Lee (Talley) Haswell; brothers, W.D. Haswell, Mack Haswell, Kenneth Haswell and W.A Haswell
