FLORENCE-Your local library is one of the most important resources in your community. The theme for this year’s National Library Week is “Connect with Your Library.”
The Florence-Lauderdale Public Library is a place to connect with your community and the world beyond it through access to technology and online resources, and, of course, books, as well as movies, classes, interesting speakers, and touring exhibitions!
It’s a place to meet new people through programming for young children, teens and adults. Plus: We are the only place to offer free access to thousands of books!
All you need is a library card to open up your world, find a new, favorite author, and connect with other people!
Follow us on our Facebook and Instagram pages and tag us in your posts! Use #FLPLibrary to tell us why you love your local library and its staff! And check our website often for updates, and to view the daily calendar of activities and programs.
Visit flpl.org/donate or stop by the circulation desk to participate in Library Giving Day on Wednesday, April 6.
