Floyd Oneal Dodson Jr., 68, died July 25, 2017. It’s a comfort to know he is where there is no pain or suffering. A celebration of life will be held at Saints MC Alabama Clubhouse, 11365 2nd St., Leighton. Prayer at 3 p.m. Papa Brookes and Brother Gentry are officiating.
Oneal was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Doris (Minor) Dodson, and infant daughter, Amy Sue.
He is survived by his loving wife, Deborah (Lake) Dodson; sister, Brenda (Dodson) Quesenberry (Billy); sons, Christopher Dodson (Theresa), Kevin Dodson (Katie), and William Bullock; stepsons, Benjamin Childers (Cheryl) and Brian Childers (Heather); grandchildren, Megan, Morgan, Triston, Dawson, Deron, Abby, Brysen, Aden, Kellin, and Kyllian; great-granddaughter, Lyric; and great-grandson, Kane, due in October.
Oneal was retired from the Ironworker Local 477. He was an avid motorcyclist and a member of Saint MC Alabama. Oneal gave to his community by fundraising for those in need. He was a quiet man but full of wisdom.
