Floyd Hubert Cox of Cullman passed away January 30, 2021 at the age of 97. He was born May 6, 1923 in Purvis Ms. to John H. and Corda Faust Cox. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife: Ethel I. Cox, sisters: Lola Mae Widner, Gussie Lee Michaels, brothers: Verbon Cox, Earl Cox and Ray Cox. Mr. Cox is a veteran of The United States Navy and The United States Air Force. Funeral services are Tuesday February 2, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Moss Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dennis Trimble officiating. Interment will follow services in East Point Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery. Survivors are: Step-Daughters: Mary Dean Lamar, Shelia Thomas, Jo Etta (Bill) Wilt, Step-Son: Douglas (Sandra) Miller, Special Nephew: Wayne Widner, Step-Grandchildren: Kristy (Philip) White, Leann (Drew) Evans, Brad Lamar, Anthony (Bethany) Lamar, Ashley (Tim) Dawes, Kim (Wade) Sharpton, Paul (Letha) Miller, Josh (Jessica) Thomas, Terrie (Don) Warnke, 14 Step-Great Grandchildren, 4 Step Great Great Grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
