Floyd Elwood Dailey – Obituary

Floyd Elwood Dailey, 84, of Burnsville, MS, died Sunday, January 31, 2016, at his residence. Mr. Dailey was of the Christian faith. He was a U. S. Army veteran and served in Korea during the Korean War. He was a lifelong farmer and cattleman. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 2, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Glen. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 3, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Glen, officiated by Bro. Donovan Cain and Gary Orick. Interment will follow in Little Flock Cemetery. Pallbearers include Mike Crabb, Donnie Crabb, Gary Orick, Blake Shawl, Don Sims, and Kenny Phifer. Cutshall Funeral Home of Glen, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Dorothy Crabb Dailey; one son, Larry Dailey; one daughter, Brenda Hinton and husband, Mike; and a brother, James Dailey, all of Burnsville; and two grandchildren, Laura Dudley of Burnsville, and David Dudley of Lakewood, CO. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard “Dick” and Ivy Wood Dailey; and a brother, Elvin Dailey.
