Mr. Floyd Edward Snyder, age 83, of Tuscumbia, died Thursday, August 22, 2013. Visitation will be Sunday, August 25, 2013, 12-2 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home of Tuscumbia. His funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Daryl Pace officiating. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Snyder was a native of Brundidge, AL and was retired from the Alabama State Department of Revenue and the Alabama National Guard – SFC/E7. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise McCary Snyder; parents, Claudie and Bama Maddox Snyder; sisters, Beth Norris and Judy Leonard; brother, Claude Snyder.
Survivors include his daughters; Kay Fleming (Wendell),Kathy Underwood (Joe); brother, Fred Snyder (Peggy); sister-in-law, Mattie Pool; grandchildren, Wendy Fleming Baig (Zak), Marcus Underwood, Andi Jo Underwood; great-grandchildren, Maddox Baig, Fleming Baig and several nieces and nephews.
