Flossie T. Hodges, 93 of Ardmore, Alabama died on Saturday, January 28, 2017, at her home.
Born Friday, March 2, 1923 in Limestone County, she was the daughter of the late Elzie Alvis Tillery, Sr. and the late Florence Black Tillery. She was a member of Hollands Gin Church of Christ and was a homemaker and a retired lunchroom manager. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Dallas W. (Nook) Hodges, a daughter-in-law: Sallie R. Hodges, sisters: Rilla Wales, Magdalene Tillery, and brothers: Frederick, Bud, Doug, Elzie, William T. (Speedy), and Joe D. Tillery.
Surviving are sons, Ray Hodges of Ardmore, AL and Roger (Dona) Hodges of Ardmore, AL, daughter, Ronda (Glen) Garner of Ardmore, AL, sister, Clara Butler of Ardmore, AL, special caregiver: Wanda (Marie) Guthrie, grandchildren: Chad (Tracy) Hodges, Kim (Chris) Seitz, Lee Ann (Harold) Gregory, Ryan (Jennifer) Hodges, and Kelli (Jim) Buckner and great-grandchildren: Abby Duran, Reece and Cason Hodges, Lindsay Hodges, Daylee, Camryn, Dallas, and Marley Buckner.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 31, 2017, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Bro. Collier Raley and Bro. Kasey Harbin officiating. Burial will be in Hasting Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, January 30, 2017, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
