Florene Tabor Hall, 83, of Huntsville passed away Tuesday, Feb. 10. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, William “W.J.” Hall; parents, Samuel Grady Tabor and Mary Elizabeth Tabor; sisters, Altha Ikard and Elizabeth Maples. Mrs. Hall was a lifelong member of Elon Church of Christ, where she filled the church with her beautiful alto voice. Flo, as she was known to friends and family, was a feisty redhead who loved those close to her deeply. She led a rich life, full of experience, from driving a school bus to traveling the world with W.J. Mrs. Hall is survived and will forever be loved by her children Danny Hall, Billy Hall and his wife, Tammy; granddaughters Carrie Potter, Samantha Hall Hurst and Leasa Hall; great-grandchildren Ryan Potter, Averett Hurst and Madeline Hurst; and two sisters, Lucille Dalton and Mary Jo Key. Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Hampton Cove Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Moon Cemetery.
