Florence Woman And Lexington Man Die After Car Leaves Roadway While Traveling On Interstate 65

CULLMAN COUNTY-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident near Dodge City in Cullman County hs taken the lives of two people:

“A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 9:40 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, has claimed the lives of two people.

Kristen B. Rogers, 35, of Florence, was fatally injured when the 2012 Cadillac SRX she was driving left the roadway, struck a cable barrier and overturned. Danny W. Robinson, 41, of Lexington, who was a passenger in the Cadillac, was also fatally injured. Both Rogers and Robinson were not using a seat belt at the time of crash; were ejected and pronounced deceased at the scene.

The crash occurred on Interstate 65 near Alabama 69, approximately two miles southeast of Dodge City, in Cullman County.

Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
