FLORENCE-Mayor Andy Betterton and the Florence City Council invite you to our annual Florence Citywide Cleanup. Come to the Florence Coliseum at 8:00 am on Saturday, March 15 to enjoy a biscuit and coffee before gathering supplies and cleaning up our streets and roadways! Work with us to Keep Florence Beautiful!
Florence Solid Waste, Street and Recycling, in partnership with Keep Alabama Beautiful, Keep Florence Beautiful, and Keep the Shoals Beautiful, will supply gloves, vests, grabbers, and bags. We encourage residents to enjoy the positive feelings generated by spending a morning cleaning up litter around a favorite area, street, or roadway in Florence. Take before, during, and after pictures and videos. Tag us on Facebook @florence.recycle so we can share your efforts with the rest of the City. Together, we can make a huge difference and make our City beautiful for a spectacular spring and summer.
