The Florence officer injured last night, Tuesday, November 10 during a foot pursuit has suffered several broken ribs and remains hospitalized this morning and is receiving treatment. The Officer’s name has still not been released.
FLORENCE-A statement from the Florence Police Department regarding the injury of an officer on Tuesday evening, November 10:
“A Florence Police Officer was injured this evening during a foot pursuit near a Florence Blvd business. The officer, whose name is not being released, was transported from the scene by ambulance is receiving treatment at a local medical facility. Additional information about the officers status or other details in this case are not available at this time. Please keep our officer and their family in your thoughts and prayers tonight.”
