Officer Jason Novak
FLORENCE-Florence Police report the loss of one of their own. Officer Jason Novak died in an off-duty car accident on Saturday night, August 8.
Officer Novak had been a member of the Florence Police Department for over 20 years.
Details of the accident have not been released. There is a statement concerning the loss of Officer Novak from the Florence Police Department:
“It is with a heavy heart that we report off-duty Officer Jason Novak was killed in a car crash late last night. Officer Novak served this community with pride and professionalism for over 20 years. Please keep Jason’s family and our department in your prayers during this difficult time.”
