Florence Police Make Arrest In Robbery Case From April: 5 Arrested On Various Charges

FLORENCE-On April 26, 2024, a robbery with a firearm occurred at Bellamy Place Apartments. Detectives with Florence Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division identified the suspected offenders in the incident.

On Friday, May 3, 2024, the Florence/Lauderdale SWAT team members executed a search warrant at a residence in the 1400 Block of Cypress Point. During a search of the residence, multiple firearms and drugs were located in the residence. As a result of the search, five individuals were arrested.

Montreal Hatchett, 19, of Florence, was charged with Robbery in the First Degree.

Edmond Sanders, 18, of Florence, was charged with Robbery in the First Degree.

Charles Stewart, 18, of Florence, was charged with Theft in the Second Degree.

Marquita Hatchett, 40, of Florence, was charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

Brandon Peete, 38, of Florence, was charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

Montreal Hatchett and Edmond Sanders are being held without bond.
Charles Stewart has a $15,000 bond.

Marquita Hatchett and Brandon Peete have a $500 bond.

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
