FLORENCE-The Florence Police Department released a statement on an overnight robbery. Anyone with information is urged to call:
“We are working an overnight robbery at Kangaroo Gas Station, 602 Cox Creek Parkway. Officer responded to a reported armed robbery just before 1 am. The clerk was unharmed and advised that a male wearing a jump suit entered the store and demanded money. No other information is available at this time and the store was unable to provide any video at the time of the robbery. The suspect is believed to have fled on foot North of the business. Anyone with information on this crime is asked to contact FPD at 760-6610 or text a tip to 274637 using keyword “FPDTIP” plus their message.”
