Florence Police Arret Suspect With The Help Of ICE; Suspect Charged With Sexual Abuse

FLORENCE-On February 3, 2026, at approximately 1:00pm, Florence Police Department detectives with the assistance of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) conducted a search warrant at 173 Cox Creek Parkway; Ichiban.

The search warrant was in reference to an employee, Eleazar Hernandez-Trujillo, being suspected of sexual abuse.

Hernandez-Trujillo was interviewed by Florence Police Department detectives and was arrested for two counts of Sexual Abuse 1st Degree. Hernandez-Trujillo is currently confined at the Lauderdale County Detention Center and has a $30,000 bond.

 Eleazar Hernandez-Trujillo is innocent until proven guilty.

Added Note:

During the Sexual Abuse 1st Degree investigation, there were five individuals identified as people of interest, including the person charged with Sexual Abuse 1stDegree, Eleazar Hernandez-Trujillo. While conducting the search warrant at Ichiban, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) identified the remaining four individuals and took them into custody for their charges. 

All further questions regarding the four individuals taken into custody by Homeland Security Investigations should be directed to Homeland Security Investigations.
