Florence Police Arrest Two Suspects; Charged With Robbery 1st Degree

FLORENCE-Florence Police report a Robbery 1st degree on March 20.  The statement released by the Florence Police show two suspects arrested for robbery:

“On March 20, 2021, at approximately 11:00 PM, officers responded to a robbery call which occurred on Minniehaha Street in Florence. 

According to the complainant, he was riding his bicycle in the area and was stopped by two subjects.  One of the subjects produced a knife and pointed to towards his stomach and demanded his money.  The victim abandoned his wallet, bike and a few grocery items and ran.

Eric Davis

The complainant pointed out the house where the two males had entered.  Officers made contact with several subjects from the house and a search warrant was obtained.  During the search evidence of the crime was located.  Two subjects were arrested for the crime. 

Delrica Hughes, 125 Minniehaha Street, Florence, Alabama and Eric Davis, 8230 Old Hwy 20, Leighton, Alabama,  both were charged with Robbery 1st. Degree.  Davis is being held on a $60,000 bond.  Hughes was also charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and he is being held on a $61,000 bond.”
