FLORENCE-On Tuesday, May 13, 2025, Florence Police were notified that Deputies with the Lauderdale County Sheriff’s were involved in a pursuit with a stolen vehicle.

Mart on Cloverdale Road attempting to get video of the driver who had been at the store earlier. While the officer was inside the store, the car entered a parking lot.
The officer confronted the driver, Anika-Seani Diane Brady. While being taken into custody, Brady began physically resisting the officer. In an attempt to get away, Brady bit the officer on the arm. During the struggle, a backup officer arrived and helped take Brady into custody.
Brady was arrested and charged with Assault Second Degree on a Police Officer, Resisting Arrest, and Disorderly Conduct.
She is confined in Lauderdale County Detention Center with a $5,500 bond. The Officer was treated and released from a local medical center.
Anika-Seani Diane Brady is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
