FLORENCE-The Florence Police Department isued a release on the attempted robbery of Listerhill Credit Union which occurred on Monday, August 19:
“On 08/19/2019, the Florence Police Department received several reports of an individual attempting to enter local banks wearing a disguise. The individual was either locked out or entered and left without contacting employees.
At approximately 1225, the Florence Police Department responded to a hold-up alarm at Listerhill Credit Union (301 W. College Street). Patrol officers arrived within two minutes and detained Florence resident Keenan Randle (B/M, 8/1/1998). Mr. Randle was wearing a disguise that matched the earlier descriptions. Mr. Randle was in possession of a note which demanded money.
Mr. Randle was interviewed by detectives and charged with Robbery 1st Degree.”
