Florence Police Arrest Suspect At Florence High School on Terrorist Threats 1st Degree

FLORENCE-On February 24, 2025, at approximately 4:00pm, the Florence Police Department School Resource Officer was alerted about a threat to the Florence High School. An individual was seen in a video pointing a gun at the camera threatening to shoot the school.

The Florence High SRO recognized the individual in the video and knew he was at the Florence High School participating in night school.

The Florence Police SRO made contact with the individual.

After further investigation, the male, identified as

Joshua Meza

Florence Police Department

C.O.P.S. Division- Public Information Officer

, 18, was arrested for Terroristic Threats in the 1st Degree.

Jadarus Foster is innocent until proven guilty.
