Lorenzo Fortenberry
FLORENCE-On Monday, January 28 the Florence POlice Department released a statement concerning the arrest of a suspect who has been charged with Burglary and Theft of Property:
“On 1/27/2019 officers responded to a Burglary in progress on Kendrick St in Florence. When officers arrived they found the renter of the home and Lorenzo Fortenberry on the front porch. The renter was detaining Mr. Fortenberry until officers arrived.
The renter arrived to find his back door forced opened and contacted the Police. He then entered the home and Mr. Fortenberry inside his home. Mr. Fortenberry had several items that belong to the renter on him. Officers arrested Mr. Fortenberry and transported him to the Police Department to talk with Detectives. Mr. Fortenberry was charged with Burglary and Theft of Property.
Mr. Fortenberry is currently in the Lauderdale County Detention Center on a $2,500.00 bond. He is charged with Burglary 3rd and Theft of Property 4th.”
