FLORENCE-Florence Police have arrested a Sheffield man on charges of Domestic Violence, Burglary 1stand Stalking, Domestic Violence 3rd, Harassment, AND Assault 3rd (2 COUNTS). Here is what they have to say about the arrest.
” Sheffield Man Arrested After Domestic Dispute; Ashton Blake McKenney, 21, of Sheffield was arrested this afternoon and charged with Burglary 1st, Domestic Violence 2nd, Stalking, Domestic Violence 3rd Harassment, and Assault 3rd (2 cts). McKenney is accused of forcing entry into his ex-girlfriend’s residence on 01-27-14. Reports indicate that officers responded to the report of a domestic dispute on Connor Street shortly before 7pm on Monday. Witnesses at the scene told police that McKenney kicked in the door to the residence and shoved the victim’s mother to the ground and then began fighting the victim’s current boyfriend. McKenney was not present when police arrived. He was located earlier today and arrested without incident. He was booked into the LCDC and released after posting bond.
