Funeral for Florence May Painter, 76 of Hartselle will be Monday August 04, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Tom Campbell and Brother Josh Sparkman officiating. Burial will be in the Herring Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, August 04, 2014, from 10 a.m. until time of service.
Mrs. Painter was born July 29, 1937, in Kansas to Fred C. Strick and Florence M. Wright Strick. She passed away Monday, July 28, 2014, at Decatur-Morgan Hospital.
Mrs. Painter was a retired machinist from Caterpillar Inc. with 28 years of service. She attended Shady Grove Baptist Church and No Fences Cowboy Church.
Mrs. Painter was preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law Butch Kempke and grandson Jason McNabb.
She is survived by two sons; Keith Painter of Troutdale, Oregon, Kevin (Rachel) Painter of Riverside, Alabama; two daughters, Denise Kempke of Hartselle and Deneen (Ronnie) Cross of Falkville; twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Dallas Kempke, Josh Painter, Matt Painter, Christopher Painter, Lawrence Painter, and Chase Painter
