FLORENCE-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident involving an ATV has taken the life of a Florence man:
“A single-vehicle crash involving an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) that occurred at approximately 4:45 p.m. Saturday, August 30, has claimed the life of a Florence man.
Cory L. Stevenson, 34, was fatally injured when the 2015 Sportsman 570 ATV he was operating left the roadway and struck a ditch before overturning. Stevenson was thrown from the ATV and pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on Lauderdale County 24, near Hike Drive, approximately five miles north of Florence, in Lauderdale County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
