FLORENCE-Breaking News……Florence Police just arrested a Florence man on an Attempted Murder Charge. Here is what we know from The Florence Police Department:
“Florence Man Arrested and Charged With Attempted Murder Following May Shooting; Terrance Kareem Garrett, 29, of Florence was arrested without incident and charged with Attempted Murder, Robbery 1st, Burglary 1st, Shooting Into an Occupied Dwelling, and Shooting into an Unoccupied Vehicle. The charges stem from a May 27, 2014, shooting in the 1300 block of Sunnyside Street. Reports show that Florence Police responded to a “Shots Fired” call in the early morning hours of May 27th. Officers arrived to find a male shot once in the back. Additionally, officers found that a separate residence and vehicle had been struck by gunfire. Forensic evidence located at the scene helped to link Garrett to the crime. Garrett is being held in the LCDC.
