FLORENCE-On Monday, December 7 the Florence Police Department issued a statement concerning the arrest of a suspect who had endangered the life of a minor with drugs:
“Florence Police officers responded to a report of a suspicious person on Doubletree Lane in the early morning of December 7, 2020.
They located a 15 year old juvenile who was under the influence and ensured he received the proper medical aid. It was determined that Ethan Sak, 19 years old, had provided the juvenile with hallucinogenic mushrooms.
Mr. Sak was arrested, charged with Chemical endangerment of exposing a child to an environment in which controlled substances are produced or distributed, and taken to the Lauderdale County Detention Center where he was given a $2500.00 bond. Mr. Sak has since made bond.
The investigation is ongoing and there is no further information to release.”
