Florence Man Arrested Charged With Fraudulent Use Of Credit Card

FLORENCE-The Florence Police Department picked up a suspect on Warrants for the Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card on Thursday, February 18.

“John Brown was picked up last night on warrants for Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card and for forging checks.  A elderly female hired him to do work around her house.  He used her debit card to make cash withdrawals.  He also forged checks for cash and to purchase merchandise to return for cash.  At the time of his arrest, he had the victim’s credit card in his possession.   He also was charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.”
