FLORENCE – The City of Florence held its annual Christmas Parade Friday night before an estimated  crowd of 6-thousand spectators. The weather was perfect, the sidewalks were filled with children, their parents and grandparents. Everyone turned out to see the star of the parade: Santa Claus.

The Quad-Cities Daily was on hand to photograph this huge event. Our photographers fanned out across the length of Court Street to capture photos of as many people as possible. We have several hundred pics in this series of articles. If you don’t find yourself in one part, keep looking as you will most likely see yourself.

These photos are sized to make a nice 4 x 6-inch print. You can download the full size image by clicking the link at the bottom right corner of the slideshow. Just right-click, select “Save As”, and there you have it. You can print the photo on any printer, however a good photo printer will make a great print. Or you can save the download to a thumb drive and take the pic to a drugstore photo kiosk.

These photos are yours to keep free of charge. Please remember that they are for NON-COMMERCIAL USE ONLY. We hopy that you find yourself in here. enjoy!
