Florence Bickley Grabryan, 81, Sheffield, died Friday, October 5, 2012.
A graveside service will be at Sheffield Oakwood Cemetery, Tuesday, October 9th, 11:00 a.m. Rev. Bill Bedsole is officiating.
Mrs. Grabryan was a member of Sheffield First United Methodist Church and a graduate of Alabama College (now University of Montevallo). She completed a Dietetic Internship at the Colorado State Hospital, Pueblo, CO. She was also a Registered Dietician, a former Lieutenant of the U.S. Public Health Service, a member of the American Dietetic Association, and the Alabama Dietetic Association. She was employed by E.C.M. Hospital, 1961-1964 and 1984-1995.
She was preceded in death by parents, Fred Peeples Bickley and Thelma Rhoads Bickley and husband, George M. Grabryan.
She is survived by sons, George M. Grabryan, Jr. of Florence and Fred B. Grabryan of Sheffield; daughter, Susan L. Grabryan of Sheffield; granddaughter, Brynne Grabryan of Sheffield; and brother, Dr. Fred P. Bickley, Jr. of Athens, AL.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sheffield First United Methodist Church or your favorite charity.
Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia, is directing.
