FLORENCE– Florence Arts and Museums is excited to announce its upcoming KD Art Lab fall sessions. Designed to spark creativity and teach art skills, these two program blocks offer hands-on classes for ages 7–14.
Block One:

Overview: Explore history through the lens of visual art in this six-week course.

Overview: Students will learn comic history, story development, and illustration techniques to create their own mini comic book. This class will culminate in a group readathon.

Overview: A hands-on, movement-based exploration of artmaking and creativity.

Overview: Students will develop skills across multiple media using both 2D and 3D materials.

Overview: This course introduces watercolor techniques and color theory, transitioning into plein air painting in Wilson Park and downtown Florence.
