Flora Laverne Sanders Knight was born June 28, 1939 in Stantonville, TN, the daughter of the late William Roy and Nola Etta Roten Sanders.
She was united in marriage to George Ebern Knight on June 28, 1957. Mr. Knight preceded her in death on August 8, 1993. She was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Michie, Tennessee.
Mrs. Knight departed this life on September 27, 2014 in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 75 Years, 2 Months, 30 Days.
She is survived by a daughter, Renee Knight Bivens and husband Duane of Biloxi, MS; a son, Ronnie Neal Knight and wife Marilyn of Michie, TN; two brothers, Horace Sanders and wife Sue of Michie, TN, Gerald Sanders and wife Barbara of Michie, TN; a grandchild, Conner Bivens of Biloxi, MS; two sister-in-laws, Inus Sanders of Corinth, MS, Earlene Sanders of Michie, TN; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Knight was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Schlesser; two brothers, James and Avis Sanders.
