Fleeta Mae ScottFleeta Mae Scott, age 91, of Russellville, passed away on June 24, 2023.

Fleeta was a Christian and a member of The Solid Rock Church of Haleyville. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, friend and a God fearing Prayer Warrior. She was a member of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends during family functions and Holiday gatherings. Her smile was one of a kind. She will truly be missed by her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Joel Scott; daughters, Brenda Scott, Carolyn Crumpton, Debbie Smith (Tim); grandchildren, Joel Scott, Brock Miller (Shannon), Keslie Atkins (Dustin), Hunter Smith, Caitlan Swinney (Chase), Anna Smith; six great-grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren.

Fleeta was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde A. Scott; son, Jeffrey Scott; parents, James and Zelma Wallace; grandsons, Brian Miller, Jayson Scott; daughter in-law, Sharon Scott; son in-law, James W. Crumpton; as well as three siblings.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 from 1pm-2pm with the funeral following at 2pm in the Chapel of Pinkard Funeral Home of Russellville. Interment will be in Old Line Cemetery, Hodges, AL.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to a special friend-caregiver Linder Flanagan. Also North West Home Health, Hospice of North Alabama, Cassie Hannah and staff of Russellville Hospital for all the love and care given to our sweet Mother.
