Funeral service for Fleeda Joyce Holladay, 80, will be Monday, November 9, 2026 at 3:00 PM at Friendship South of Danville with Bro. Michael Gunter officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Friendship (South of Danville)Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, November 9, 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Friendship South of Danville.
Mrs. Holladay died on Wednesday, November 4, 2026 at her residence. She was born February 6, 1946, in Lawrence County, to Fred William Sanford and Lois Audrey Asherbranner Holladay.
She was employed by Prestolite, in manufacturing and also worked as a Bus Driver, for the Morgan County School System, prior to her retirement. She really enjoyed driving her school bus and loved all the kids. She was a fun loving person, that really enjoyed having a good time. She was always a happy person. Mrs. Holladay attended Neel Church of Christ. She loved her cats and dogs.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Frankie Holladay and her parents.
Survivors include-
a Nephew – Nathan Sanford,
Two Nieces – Anna Sanford and Amber Sanford.
and Many Cousins & Friends
Pallbearers will be her nephew, Nathan Sanford, and family members and friends.
