Mrs. Flecie White, age 85, of Rogersville, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2013, at her home after
an extended illness.
Visitation for family and friends will be at Elkins East Chapel Funeral Home on Tuesday from
6-8 p.m. The chapel service will follow on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Gerald “Buck”
Howard officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. White loved flowers and her vegetable garden. She was a member of the Springfield
Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son, Travis White and wife, Angie, of Rogersville; grandchildren, Tiffany
Thomas and husband, Brandon, of Killen, and Tyler White, of Rogersville; great-granddaughter, Alyssa
Thomas.
Mrs. White was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Junior White; her parents, Lucion and
Gracie McGee; and a brother, Alvin McGee.
Pallbearers will be Tyler White, Brandon Thomas, Jeremy Brown, Doug Hamner, Glenn Smith
and Marshall Lovelace.
The family would like to thank Southern Care Hospice and caregiver Alice Davis for their care.
Elkins East Chapel is assisting the family.
