TRINITY – First Solar, Inc., (Nasdaq: FSLR) the largest photovoltaic (PV) solar module manufacturer in the western hemisphere, is intensifying hiring efforts to staff its new manufacturing facility in Trinity, Alabama. The company is actively recruiting for production technician roles and will host a career fair this Friday, May 17, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Seminar Room at Northwest-Shoals Community College.

Production technicians play a crucial role in conducting operational preventative maintenance procedures, addressing intermediate-level alarms, performing basic quality control procedures, and interfacing with equipment and factory computer systems. First Solar offers competitive wages, onsite amenities, bonuses, 401k with company match, and other great benefits beginning on day one of employment. Potential candidates for production technician roles should share First Solar’s safety-first mindset and a high standard for quality.

“First Solar offers a career with purpose,” said Eric Johnson, senior manager of talent acquisition at First Solar. “Every day offers a new opportunity to learn new skills, develop technical knowledge, and grow your career with our industry-leading team. We are excited to bring our innovative and safety-first culture to Alabama.”

Candidates are invited to bring their resumes and take advantage of this opportunity to speak directly to hiring managers. Light refreshments and giveaways will also be offered.
