Funeral Mass for Mr. Filemon Barcenas, age 73, will be held at 11 AM on Friday, January 22, 2021 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Humboldt. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Jackson. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 PM until 9 PM and Friday from 9:30 AM until service time at Shelton-Hunt Funeral Home.
Mr. Barcenas, a concrete worker and beloved grandpa, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at his home.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Beatriz Barcenas; and a son, Jose Barcenas.
Mr. Barcenas is survived by three daughters, Marilu Cano, Maria Reina Mora and Monica Lisa Cole; three sons, Robert Barcenas, Filemon Barcenas and Juan Barcenas; five sisters, Maria Cruz Mongara, Marta Castuñeda; Maria Consepcion Morin; Mavia Delrosario Morin and Felisa Castañeda; five brothers, Josa Barcenas, Eriberto Barcenas, Jose Cruz Barcenas, Gustabo Barcenas and Hbran Barcenas; and twenty six grandchildren.
