FLORENCE-The second annual Summer Solstice celebration Festival of Litha returns to downtown Wilson Park in Florence June 24 & 25 from 12PM-8PM and June 26 from 12PM-6PM. The weekend will kick off of the beginning of the summer season with a host of local food, arts, and crafts vendors, as well as live music and entertainment for the Shoals community and surrounding areas.

Festival of Litha is hosted by Hesperia Mystic Shoppe and is a family friendly event. The festival brings together a like-minded community to create connections and promote positivity within the community while celebrating Summer. It’s a fantastic space for people to build confidence in their craft and creations, and for local musicians and entertainers to be heard and seen.

In addition to jewelry, crystals, oils, and herbs, the festival also features events like a sound bowl session by Human Design Consultant Brittanie O’Neal June 25 and 26 at 1PM, and tarot readings by Sarah Benedict of Sky Visions from 2-5PM at the Hesperia Mystic Shoppe booth. Other tarot readers will be dispersed throughout the park each day doing readings as well all day long. Sunday’s lineup will feature a fire dancer between 5-6PM.

There will be live music on Friday and Saturday from 6-8PM. This year’s entertainment features UNA Dept. of Entertainment Industry Asst. Professor Dr. Charles Brooks on the vibraphone, followed by Americana group Moon Tree Band on Friday, and Tupelo’s very own Tyler Ward and Doctor Death Ray on Saturday.

Come join the fun and get your dose of Summer peace while raising your vibrations and celebrating with your community. This event is free and open to the public. For further information, please contact Hesperia Mystic Shoppe.
