TUPELO, MS-On 11-24-24, officers attempted to stop a vehicle that was reported stolen out of Alabama near E. Main Street
Joshua L. Butler
and Highway 45, but the driver refused to stop.
Officers pursued the vehicle until they were able to get it stopped near the 1500 block of McCullough Blvd, where the driver, Joshua L. Butler, was arrested.
On 11-25-24, after further investigation, Joshua L. Butler (49, Tupelo) was charged with Felony Fleeing and Possession of Stolen Property.
On 11-25-24, Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Allen ordered Butler to be held on a $35,000 bond. These charges will be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury.
