Felix Lymon Evans, age 94, passed away on August 21, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. Lymon was married to the love of his life, Lena Rogers, on August 31, 1956. Together, they built a beautiful life and family that was his greatest source of pride and joy.
He is survived by his wife, Lena; his children, Lynette (Keith Bellomy) and Lamar (Cathy); his grandchildren, Chasley (Chase Brown), Lilli (Greyson Chappelear), and Sawyer Evans; and his great-granddaughters, Ann Evans and Kate Brown.
Lymon was a faithful member and deacon of First Baptist Church, Scottsboro, AL, where he served his church and community with dedication. He also proudly served for 10 years in the National Guard.
Before retiring, Lymon was a business owner in Huntsville. He was known for his strong work ethic, devotion to his family, faith, and willingness to serve others.
A private graveside service was held on Saturday August 22, 2026 in his honor
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Tunnels to Towers (T2T) or St Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Lymon’s memory
He leaves behind a legacy of faith, family, service, and love that will continue through the generations.
