Fayrene Hackman Turner, age 74, of Sulligent, AL passed away Sunday, December 20, 2020 at North Mississippi Medical Center-Gilmore in Amory, MS. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 1:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Gilmer Addition of Sulligent City Cemetery. Reverend Michael Brock to officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 12:00pm until 1:00pm.

Fayrene was born on June 19, 1946 in Sulligent, AL to the late Willie Hackman and the late Lois Nails. She was a 1966 graduate of Todd High School. Fayrene was a school bus driver for Lamar County School System for 33 years. She was a missionary at her church and on the usher board. Fayrene enjoyed cooking, going to church, spending time with family, music, and flowers. She was a member of St. James Baptist and New Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Kennedy, AL.
