Faye S. Ross, age 85, of Albertville, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2025. She was born on October 20, 1939, to the late Carl and Martha Shankles. A devoted woman of faith, Faye was an active member of Baltimore Avenue Church of God, where she found great joy in worship and fellowship.
She is survived by her loving children, Debbie (Clinton “Cotton”) Cheek, Lisa Owen, and Cindy (Brent) Ledford; her cherished grandchildren, Johnathan (Emily) Lynn, Brody (Lizzie) Owen, Jake (Kalee) Ledford, Caitlyn Owen, and Allie (Dalton) Turner; and her precious great-grandchildren, Will (Kelsie) Lynn, Cathryn Lynn, Natalie Lynn, Andrew Lynn, Campbell Turner, and Caida Ledford. She is also survived by her sister, Linda Lee; sister-in-law, Carolyn Cannady; and a host of beloved nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Faye was preceded in death by her husband, James Ross; her grandson, Matthew Owen; and six siblings.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 7, 2025, at Adams Brown Service Funeral Chapel, with visitation beginning at noon. She will be laid to rest at Marshall Memorial Gardens.
Faye’s kindness, faith, and love for her family will forever be remembered and cherished by those who knew her.
