A Celebration of Life service for Faye Melville, 75 of Burnsville, MS, will be Sunday, August 15, 2021 at 2:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home – East Chapel. Rev. James Spears will officiate the service. Visitation will be Sunday, August 15, 2021 from 12:00 noon until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home – East. Mrs. Melville passed away Monday, August 9, 2021 at her residence. She was born November 28, 1945 to Aubrey Smith and Annie Henderson Smith. She was a homemaker and a member of First Corinthian Church. She took care of people in their homes, loved crafting, puzzles, reading and spending time with her family. She is survived by her son, Larry Melville of Tishomingo, MS; her daughter, Audrey Melville of Burnsville, MS; 9 grandchildren, Amber McCallus (Steven), Samantha Wright (Shannon Moncrief), Rory Melville, Jr. (Brandy), Faith Melville, Danielle Smith (Jon), Mae-Anne Bryant (James), Tricia Stewart, Thomas Melville and Thomas Hodges; 15 great grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Sandy Horton of Juliet, IL; special niece, Briar Gurley “Angel Wings”; several other nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by husband, John Melville, Jr.; her son, Rory Melville; her brothers, James Smith, William Smith, Gary Smith and Larry Smith and her sisters; Jaine Jelley and Judy Medina. In lieu of flowers the family requests donation be made to the First Corinthian Church, 1901 E. 5th Street, Corinth, MS 38834.
