Faye Hardin, 87, left this earthly body on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 to be forever with her Lord and Savior, whom she loved so dearly.
Faye was born August 5, 1938 to Ed and Laura Selvage in Jackson County, AL. She graduated from Scottsboro High School in 1957 and married the love of her life, Ray Harding, on June 1, 1957. She and Ray moved to Huntsville where she attended NACC College. She earned her degree and went to work at ARGMA on Redstone Arsenal. Faye worked for the US government until her first child was born in December of 1961. She later went back to work and worked at various places including Boeing Co., Fayetteville Electric Motor Service, and Huntsville Hospital.
After her husband retired, she and Ray went into campground ministry, ministering in AL, TN, and FL. She was a faithful minister’s wife, playing the piano and laboring along side her husband for over 20 years.
She leaves to cherish her memories her daughters Renae Stephenson (Roger) and Anita Willenburg, and son Anthony Hardin (Karen); five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Joan Cornelison (James) and many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Hardin; two brothers, Ed and Rayburn Selvage; and one sister, Nellie Coiner.
Funeral will be held at Berryhill Funeral Home on Sunday, February 22nd with visitation from 12:00 – 2:00 PM, followed by the service at 2:00 with Rev. Jeff Wright and Rev. James Duckworth officiating. Burial will be at Gold Cemetery in Jackson County.
